Captain's Log - July 2010
Greetings and welcome to our website.
Come and join Australia's friendliest Star Trek and Sci Fi organisation!
Fans from all over our planet are most welcome here and we wish you a fantastic time with us. You know when half the year has passed when you begin to see income tax and end of financial year sales pop up along with Christmas show bookings advertised and we are no exception with our own Club Christmas Dinner set for the first Saturday of December so mark this date as a " must attend " festive season event!

having had a great time!
Up next is our Sci Fi exhibition and Alien makeup and prosthetic workshops expo as
part of National Science Week commencing from August 14 at The South Australian
Museum and culminating with our annual Ultimate Quiznight on August 28 at
The Police Club of Adelaide.

person for a fun and zany evening with Adelaide's most popular Quizmasters!

On June 12 and 13 we had a successful launch of our upcoming Ultimate Quiz Night
August 28, as part of our display at The National Collectible Fair in Adelaide - South Australia

Club Members are attending Supanova in Sydney and Perth this month so why not connect with fellow members whilst you are there via our Facebook page, we are looking for member photos you may like to submit of you with your favourite star at a convention.
Our Foodies and Movie Buffs events are a great way for you to fill in the gaps between club meetings so check our club banners for upcoming dates of both events.
April was a busy month for club members as we attended Sci Fi conventions in Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne
and some lucky members made it to Vancouver for the Stargate convention!

We are accepting submissions for our Club Magazine - The Mawson Flyer throughout the year and welcome articles of
interest as well as photos, items for sale infact... anything that will help create a great issue for members to enjoy!
2010 memberships are being accepted right now so if you are wishing to renew at your special rate or join as a first time member,

Issue No. 4 of Mawson Flyer is out now in hard copy format with plenty of content to keep our members informed
and entertained. We are looking for
