The Adelaide Pop Culture Festival 2008

We are pleased to present you with another Festival of great activities this coming August 14-22 at the SA Museum.

 
To officially kick off the Festival this year we are hosting once again, our
Ultimate Quiz Night
on Saturday August 7 at 7pm
at the Police Club in Carrington St.

Tables of ten are being organised and the cost is only $10 per head.

 
Featured activities this year include a
Retro Sci Fi Film Festival
to be held during Science Week.

During Science Week there wil be worshops in
Alien Makeup and Prosthetic Construction and Fantasy Costume Construction.

Workshops are free of charge and brought to you by Starship Mawson - Adelaide's group for fans of TV, Theatre, Print and Film
and The Australian Costumer's Guild.

From August 14-22 during National Science Week there will be a static exhibition of rare pop culture memorabilia curated by the Starship Mawson.
This will in The Main Hub which will be located directly in front of the SA Museum.

Exhibits include a rare display of actual costumes worn and props used from the hit television series Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis
There will be rare model kits and dioramas, screen presentations and more!

The Adelaide Pop Culture Festival is 8 Days of great activities for the whole family, we hope to see you there!
