Starship Mawson is a great group of people that meet throughout the year for fun social events like - Themed dinners, live theatre, cinema evenings, pop culture expos and BBQs and more!

The USS Mawson was first established in January 2006 by our current Club Captain, Stuart Blair and officially launched as a Starship on 21st April 2007 by 'Admiral William Ross' (actor Barry Jenner, Star Trek Deep Space Nine).

Our club logo has been designed by the senior conceptual illustrator for Star Trek – Mr John Eaves

Our Mission

The Starship Mawson's Mission is to follow in the great traditions of explorers like Sir Douglas Mawson, a great Australian that sought out the impossible and succeeded.

We are a group of people that meet to have fun and discuss issues on the Genre we all love.

We welcome Fans of all Sci Fi and Fantasy TV Shows, Movies and Publications. We hope you come aboard.
